Local agent Tom Pollard has taken out the state title at the Australian Livestock and Property Agents’ Young Auctioneer Competition, which was held at the Sydney Royal Easter Show today.
Tom, who works for Elders, Dubbo, was crowned champion after competing against XX at the Sydney Royal Easter Show today.
The 19-year-old has been working as a livestock agent for about three years.
He joins the likes of other Dubbo champions, such as:
- Peter Thomas – National champion (1992)
- Patrick Purtle – National champion (1996)
- Mark Carter – State champion (1996)
- Martin Simmons – State runner-up (2004)
- Joel Fleming – State champion (2009), National runner-up (2010) and went on to win ALPA Young Auctioneer of the Year in 2012
- Justin Sanderson – State runner-up (2014)
