Dubbo Regional Livestock Markets (DRLM) sit at number two in NSW for annual sheep sales for the 2016-17 financial year, recording a throughput of 1.4 million head.
The centre moved up from third position in the previous financial year.
DRLM attracts sheep and lambs from all Eastern states.
In 2015, a $4.1M upgrade of the sheep selling facilities created yards with
additional carrying capacity and a complex designed and constructed with
ease of use and animal welfare in mind.
The layout and flow through system allows for excellent presentation of lambs and gives vendors the best advantage.
