Dubbo saleyards is set to host the biggest sale so far this year with almost 10,000 head drawn for tomorrow’s fat cattle sale.
Tough seasonal conditions are still boosting numbers at the saleyards, drawing cattle from western areas of NSW as well as South Australia.
A feature line of tomorrow’s sale will be two to four-year-old Poll Hereford cows from Mutooroo Pastoral Company, Mulyungarie Station, SA.
The cattle will be offered by Elders, on account of the breeder and will include EU accredited PTIC cows and cow and calf units.
Tomorrow’s yarding will consist of almost 6000 yearlings, approximately 2600 cows, 1300 steers and 60 bulls.
