A mixed yarding of cattle was presented at yesterday’s store cattle sale however prices sold at prices comparable to the physical markets over the past week.
Weaner steers sold from $270 a head to $740 a head for Brahman steers.
Weaner heifers sold from $190 to $650/hd for Droughtmaster heifers.
A pen of mixed age Shorthorn cows with young calves at foot from the Dunedoo district sold well, making $1400/unit while a pen of very light Angus cows and calves sold for $590/unit.
The two pens of very light dry cows sold for $340 and $390/head.
