Yarding: 710
Weaner cattle made up the bulk of the yarding at yesterday’s store cattle sale.
Steer weaners sold from $115 to $570/hd while the heifer weaners sold from $100 to $490/hd.
Heifer yearlings sold from $350 to $680/hd.
Only two pens of cows and calves were yarded, making $650 and $680/unit.
PTIC cows made $375 to $680/hd for a line of Shorthorn females from the Nyngan district.
Dry cows made $210 to $660/hd.
PT Lord Dakin and Associates sold this pen of Shorthorn cows, approx. 4-5 months PTIC, for $660/hd at Friday’s Dubbo store cattle sale.
