It was a good quality yarding with a good selection of both trade and heavy weight lambs throughout. There were very few lambs to suit the restockers and just a couple of pens of trade weight Merinos. Not all the regular buyers were operating due to insufficient numbers.
Light weight lambs to the processors were firm with the 12kg to 18kg 2 scores selling from $146 to $176/head. Lighter trade lambs were $4/head cheaper while the heavier trade weights were firm.
The 18kg to 23kg 3 scores sold from $171 to $229/head.
Heavy weight lambs were $8 to $10 cheaper and more in places with the 24kg to 30kg lambs selling from $215 to $245, while a single pen of extra heavy weights over 30kg sold for $282/head.
Trade weight Merino lambs sold for $154 and $193/head. Restocker lambs were $10 dearer, selling from $122 to $166, while light weight Merino lambs to the restockers sold from $103 to $130/head. The feeders paid from $166 to $195/head.
Hoggets sold to $190/head.
