The effects of drought continue to show at Dubbo’s prime cattle sale where 3850 head were yarded today.
There was a fair selection of cows, trade and feeder cattle on offer, though grown steers were low in numbers.
Prices were up to 35c/kg cheaper across some categories, however not all regular buyers were in attendance.
A highlight of the sale included some better finished heavy cows selling up to 16c/kg dearer. Light and medium weight cows sold up to 4c/kg dearer.
