With the forecast for more useful rain, numbers were still down.
It was a good quality yarding with a good selection of both trade and heavyweights throughout.
There were also some good runs of well finished Merino lambs. A full field of buyers competed strongly.
Light weight lambs to the processors were $12 dearer with the 12 to 18kg 2 scores selling from $129 to $188/head.
Trade lambs were $3 to$10/head dearer with the better quality available a factor. The 18 to 23kg lambs sold from $188 to $244 to average from 990c to 1,015c/kgcwt.
Heavy weight lambs to 30kg were $4/head dearer while the extra heavy weights were cheaper.
The 24 to 30kg lambs sold from $239 to$295 while the over 30kg lambs sold from $300 to $310/head.
Merino lambs were $4 to $8 dearer with the trade weights selling from $178 to$220 while a pen of heavy weight Merinos sold for $239/head.
Restocker lambs were up to $25 dearer selling from $136 to $210/head. Merino lambs to the restockers sold from $66 to $95/head.
Hoggets sold to $230/head.
It was a mostly plain quality yarding of mutton where the light weight and medium weight sheep were up to $8 dearer while the better heavyweight sheep were $7/head cheaper on quality.
Merino ewes sold from $108 to $211 while the crossbred ewes sold from $145 to $255/head.
Merino wethers sold to $250/head. The restockers were very active paying from $98 to $120 for plain conditioned Merino ewes and $103 to$156/head for Merino wethers.
