Yarding: 14,275

Following between 10 and 80mm of rain over the past few days numbers were down considerably. There were a few pens of neat trade lambs throughout along with some outstanding heavy weights.

A large percentage of the yarding were young lambs lacking finish in only a fair quality yarding.
Most of the regular buyers were in attendance and operating.
Light weight lambs to the processors were $3 to $5 dearer with the 12 to 18kg 2 scores selling from $95 to $144/head.
Trade lambs were $5 to $7 dearer with the new season lambs selling from $134 to $190, while the trade weight old lambs sold from $135 to $195/head to average from 775c to 805c/kg cwt.
Heavy weight lambs were $11/head dearer with quality a factor. The over 24kg old lambs sold from $204 to
$257/head.
Merino lambs were also dearer with trade weights selling from $152 to $180, while a pen of very heavy Merino lambs sold for $230/head.
Restocker lambs were $4 to $6 dearer with the better lambs selling from $78 to $135, while very young lambs sold down to$47/head. Hoggets sold to $180/head.

It was a mixed yarding of mutton where the light weight sheep were $3 to $6/head cheaper and all other grades were around firm.
Merino ewes sold from $62 to $210, while the crossbred ewes sold from $75 to $200 and Dorpers made to $205/head. Merino wethers sold to $208/head.
Carcase prices for the prime sheep made from 575 to 640c/kg cwt.
