It was an excellent market at yesterday’s weekly sale where some categories were as much as $40/hd dearer and reaching in excess of 1000c/kg in some places.
Trade lambs were up to $35/hd dearer, making $150 to $260/hd, averaging 950c.
Heavy weight lambs topped at $305/hd.
Trade Merinos made $150 to $215 while heavy weights made from $230 to $259.
Hoggets made up to $241.
Light weight mutton decreased compared to last week’s sale, making up from $55 to $114 while heavy weights increased by about $10/hd, making from $98 to $245 for crossbred and a top of $203 for Merinos.

The team from Christie and Hood, Dubbo selling a pen of lambs, weighing 85kg plus, on behalf of the Knight family, “Boxwood”, Mendooran. The lambs are the first to make $300 or more at the Dubbo saleyards so far this year, making $305/hd.
