The Dubbo Stock and Station Agents will host a black tie charity ball event in support of the Macquarie Homestay project.
The Spring Fling Charity Ball will be held at the Dubbo RSL Auditorium on Saturday, September 28.
A series of fundraising opportunities will be held in the lead up to the event, including raffles and a 100 club competition currently being run in the DSSA office.
The Macquarie Homestay provides affordable accommodation for patients and their families, who are transported to Dubbo for medical treatment. These patients are often hundreds of kilometres from home and their stays at hospital can range from one night to one month or more.
The facility opened in early 2019 and has supported patients and families from across NSW and further afield.
We are proud to be supporting stage two of this project which will assist in building a further 14 rooms.
